Scalp Pigmentation
Scalp pigmentation is an alternative to traditional hair transplants. The non-invasive procedure works differently to normal transplants which usually take follicles from one part of the body and deposit it into another part to promote hair growth.
What is scalp pigmentation? The procedure involves the use of fine needle which injects ink into the scalp, mimicking the look of a fresh buzz cut. The procedure is straightforward and does not require any kind of surgery.
The results can vary from case to case, but scalp pigmentation can result in a resurgence of hair growth, allowing hair to grow after people have developed bald spots, thinning hair or alopecia. The procedure usually requires multiple sessions to be completed. The first session usually involves laying the foundations of the replicated hair follicles with the following sessions being used to create layers of density and replicating the look of full, short hair, and eliminating any sign of hair loss.
